About the event
Attending San Diego Comic-Con this year? Harvardwood has a block of reserved seats for the World Premiere of THE VALE – ORIGINS, a hybrid live-action/animated short film starring 3x Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga, directed by Harvardwood Board Member and NYT Best Selling Author Abigail Hing Wen in her directorial debut.
Following the screening, a panel moderated by actor Dante Basco (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hook) will discuss the expanding transmedia franchise with Abigail alongside Emmy-winning animation director John Aoshima, Harvard incoming freshman and composer Andromeda Wen, and actor/producer Efrem Bonetti (H'26), who will unveil a highly anticipated new project. They will be joined by special guests including the film's young star, Egan Xander, alongside his parents Janet Hsieh (Love in Taipei) and George Young (Falling for Christmas).
