Join us for a FREE screening of THE VALE: ORIGINS, a short film prequel to the exciting new middle grade novel THE VALE, by NYT bestselling author Abigail Hing Wen. THE VALE: ORIGINS stars three-time Tony Award Winner Lea Salonga, and is about a grieving inventor family who begin to drift apart—until their young son’s creativity sparks a journey toward healing, in a virtual reality fantasy world they made.
The film will be followed by a 30 minute discussion with author and filmmaker Abigail Hing Wen, moderated by Boston film critic Anna Hoang.
