About the event
Sunday December 3rd NYC - Union Square Regal - Q&A with writer/director and actor to follow.
Writer/director's SPACE BABY will screen as part of Dances with Films:NY.
The 35mm existential sci-fi comedy was touched by so many Harvard hands! There's a character named Blue based on Brother Blue, executive producer was Michael D. Palm (freshman advisor, Wall Street genius), mentored by professor William Alfred (through which Peter Wolf/J Geils joined the cast) and Dean Henry Moses (who added the Holy Grail twist), fellow Krok Bryan Simmons stepped in when we needed closeups of an angel's hands, songwriter Kenny Vaughan (who will be on hand at the screening) contributed the closing credits.
The film took 26 years to complete, and looks like it was shot yesterday.
"SPACE BABY is a cult classic ready to find its audience. It brought me back to my own childhood and the curiosity that made life wonderful and limitless."
"SPACE BABY finds a way to capture deep subjects like philosophy, religion, and friendship in a fun, heartwarming, and entertaining way. Highly recommended." Kyler Bingham, KPCR Radio/101.9.
