About the event
The Autumn Garden Society (led by former Harvardwood NYC Chapter Head Spence Porter) is thrilled to present our EIGHTH event: Neuroscientist Mark Gluck AB 1981 is a leading authority on how the human brain changes with age, and what we all can, and should, do to help prevent Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, he will share highlights of what he and his colleagues at Rutgers University have learned about the neuroscience of Alzheimer’s prevention and healthy aging.
Mark Gluck is Professor of Neuroscience and Public Health at Rutgers, and is the Director of the Aging & Brain Health Alliance. Outside the lab, he is an avid sea-kayaker, skier, bicyclist, swing dancer, and enthusiast of vintage French Citroën automobiles.
The event will be on Tuesday, February 24, and will begin at 7 p.m. with a brief WHITE WINE AND CHEESE RECEPTION. Mark Gluck's talk will begin promptly at 7:20 pm.
