In 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma two teen gangs, the well-to-do "Socs" and the ne'er-do-well "greasers", sustain a rivalry. The greasers—including the iconic characters of Ponyboy Curtis, played by Tony nominee Brody Grant (in his Broadway debut), and Johnny Cade, played by Tony nominee Sky Lakota-Lynch (Dear Evan Hansen)—have a rocky brotherhood, but in a society that's all but abandoned them, it's all they have.
