About the event

Few director-cinematographer collaborations have defined modern American cinema like Darren Aronofsky and Matthew Libatique. Since their bold debut with PI at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, the duo has pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling across eight films—including BLACK SWAN and THE WHALE—creating some of the most unforgettable images of the 21st century.

Aronofsky and Libatique return this summer with CAUGHT STEALING, a propulsive crime thriller starring Austin Butler, Zoë Kravitz, and Bad Bunny.

In this event, the pair will discuss their decades-long collaboration and the distinct visual style of their new film. Glenn Kiser, Director of the Dolby Creator Lab, will moderate the conversation with these two fearless cinematic voices.

Join Sundance Collab and the Dolby Creator Lab for this exclusive discussion with Oscar-nominees Darren Aronofsky and Matthew Libatique ahead of the release of CAUGHT STEALING!
