What becomes possible when girls are trusted to shape the future?

On 11 October 2026, International Day of the Girl, Victory Afghanistan invites you to In Her Hands, an uplifting online celebration led by Afghan students and inspired by the courage, creativity and determination of girls across Afghanistan.

The event forms part of our International Awareness Campaign and comes 5 years after the political regime change in Afghanistan in 2021, which brought profound changes to the education and opportunities available to Afghan girls and women.

5 years on, our students want people around the world to hear directly from them.

Through inspiring voices, creative expression and personal stories, In Her Hands will offer a glimpse into their lives, culture, education, achievements and ambitions for the future. The event will include student-led presentations and performances, followed by an opportunity for guests to ask questions and speak directly with our students.
