Harvardwood Suggests... It's All Relative: Writing Diverse Television Families

August 06, 2021 at 5:30pm - 7pm

5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST

Whether you are writing drama, comedy, or any other genre, families and the dynamics of familial relationships offer a deep well of stories and perspectives. For this session, WGF partner with Stephens College MFA in TV and Screenwriting for a discussion about writing diverse families on television. They will explore how TV writers have expanded depictions of the family unit over the years and how they’ve developed storylines that reflect the complexity and universality of these inescapable bonds.

Moderated by Dr. Rosanne Welch, Director of Stephens College MFA in TV and Screenwriting!
