The arts have the power to transform lives, inspire change, and spark a dialogue between communities. Yet for many persons with disabilities, there are barriers to accessing the arts.  Kerry Thompson Ed.M.’08– a Deafblind dancer/dance teacher, renowned global inclusion expert, communications guru, and human rights changemaker– shares why and how to create inclusion for a diverse disability community both on and off the stage. For anyone involved in performing arts production or event programming, learn ways to be more inclusive from communications and promo, to audience experience, to the creative process itself.
