Job Description:
Looking for an organized, technologically literate, and energetic professional to fill the part-time (3 days/week) job of Personal Assistant for a well-established songwriter in Nashville, TN. You will help a high-level professional with day-to-day operations and help him navigate his days.
Duties include:
- Working with the individual directly and helping him plan his days
- Work with him to organize office and archive photos and documents accumulated throughout his career
- Coordinate travel
- Draft emails
- Manage personal and professional calendar
- Assist with other tasks like shopping for groceries, picking up gifts, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Listening and Communication Skills
- You will be expected to follow instruction from your boss, and your ability to understand those instructions with little or no follow up is imperative to success. You will need to relate messages or instructions to others based on communication with your boss.
- People/Interpersonal Skills
- You will be working directly with your boss, but will also be the first line of communication between your boss and his team, as well as your boss and the outside world.
- Organizational Skills
- Your boss will rely on your to keep his working days and personal days in order. Managing his calendar includes scheduling and overseeing meetings, personal appointments, co-writes, and travel.
- Computer skills
- Writing emails, taking notes, creating spreadsheets, and having a sufficient understanding of iPhones and Mac operating systems is imperative. You will be responsible for technology updates, quick correspondence with his management team, and a variety of research.

- Car required
- Must love dogs
- Experience in the music industry preferred
Salary and compensation
- $15/hour
- One meal per day and gas
