Masters of Dramatic Arts (ALM) '19

I came to the US as a political refugee from Eastern Europe as a kid.  Now I'm an award-winning singer/songwriter, a multi-genre music producer, and a postgraduate candidate working on my thesis.  I'm looking for career opportunities here in LA: robertpopa@g.harvard.edu.

  • Actor (SAG-AFTRA)
  • Songwriter (BMI)
  • GRAMMY Voting Member (NARAS)
  • Level 2 Red Shirt KRAV MAGA/Lotar
  • Top Gun / MVP (Torrance Hockey League)

On campus I was a Faculty Aide for screenwriting professor Dr. Steinberg and a Film Researcher for Dr. Jhala. I studied acting, improv, directing and much more with Remo Airaldi, Tommy Derrah, and Marcus Stern. I also completed scene study 1 & 2 at Stella Adler (NYC), auditioned and was accepted to Voice (Section 6) at Juilliard evening division.

As a songwriter, my music catalog is over 125 songs.  I own 200% (Publishing/Copyrights) of my master recordings; I 'm also a music producer, mixer, and engineer.  In 2004, I founded my own label Rock n' Roll Records and would like to license my music in tv and film.

I completed the TV Drama Writers Module, and developed a tv show called "The Unsung Hero"... about a LA ghost songwriter named Bobby who sold his soul to the devil for fortune & fame, and now he wants his soul back.

As an actor I'm looking for representation, I need a bit of luck : ) If you are a Harvardwood member looking for new talent to represent I'm available to audition.
