Harvardwood is proud to launch our Student Support Initiative to continue to provide membership to students who are in need of additional aid. The cost of membership is just $60/year per student. Please make a donation so that we can continue to provide opportunities to all students who are interested in working in the arts, media, and entertainment, regardless of socio-economic background.
Our goal for this campaign is $5,000, and we hope to meet that benchmark by June 30, 2020.Read more

We are VERY excited to announce that The Jeff Sagansky Harvardwood TV Writers Program is offering, for the first time ever, an online summer program for writers who do not necessarily live in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, or other major Harvardwood chapters. Harvardwood seeks volunteer writers to cover monthly profile pieces showcasing established Harvard alumni in the arts, media, and entertainment industries.
Responsibilities include researching, interviewing the subject(s) via telephone or in person, and writing a 1000-1200 word profile piece. Writers should be familiar with both the Harvard community and the entertainment industry, and may suggest profile subjects of interest. Some reporting and/or interview skills are required, and most importantly, poise and a discreet manner.
We are now accepting applications to receive a 2020 Harvardwood Heroes community service grant! Through the Harvardwood Heroes program, we award grants of at least $500 each to four individuals who have demonstrated a distinguished level of service to their organizations of choice. Every year, grant winners are determined by the strength of their proposal. They will receive the first $250 upon announcement of the winners and the balance of the grant upon submission of a final essay six months later.
