August 05, 2022 at 5:30pm - 7pm

The WGF and Stephens College MFA in TV and Screenwriting team up for a virtual conversation on crafting fully dimensional female characters with a variety of experiences. Our panel of writers will discuss their experiences developing film and TV characters over the age of 50, how characters have been depicted in the past, and how shows and films are combating ageist stereotypes and subverting expectations.

  • Marta Kauffman - Creator and Executive Producer, Grace and Frankie

  • Lisa Seidman - Script Writer, General Hospital

Stay tuned for more panelist announcements.

Moderated by Dr. Rosanne Welch, Director of Stephens College MFA in TV and Screenwriting.
