The Harvard Club of Southern California and Harvardwood again this year hope you will join with hundreds of local alumni in “giving back” to our communities this April! During this, our seventh year participating in the global initiative, we invite you to add your name to that of over 750 local alumni who have participated since the program’s inception!
For the first time this year, sign-up couldn’t be easier. Just head to the HCSC website, open the tab at the top that says “Service,” scroll down to “Global Month of Service” and take a look at the 11 different volunteer opportunities we’re offering this year, for April and beyond. Each one is hosted by a fellow alum, and their contact information is listed on the sign-up page. Just call or email the individual coordinating the activity that most appeals to you, and, voila, you’ll be joining a “Harvard Serves” volunteer team! Your host will answer any questions you may have about when, where and what your team will be doing. You can also sign up here.
Last year, 51 cities participated, and Southern California’s participation once again ranked among the top cities worldwide. Coordinator Liz Ryan says,”Come join the fun doing good!” We look forward to seeing you on one of our projects!
