Now that the dust has settled on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, get back into the spirit of giving with #GivingTuesday on Nov. 27th!
There are many ways to give to Harvardwood. You can select a specific program fund to support, depending on whether you'd like your contribution to go directly to the Harvardwood 101 Fund, the Writers Program Fund, or the Harvardwood Heroes Fund.
The Harvardwood Heroes grant program aims to spotlight and support Harvard students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have made an exceptional contribution to the community. These Heroes exemplify the mission of Harvardwood by demonstrating the power and purpose of the arts, media, and entertainment in the betterment of our communities. DONATE TO THE HEROES HERE.
The Harvardwood 101 career exploration program brings two dozen current undergraduates to Los Angeles during the January term and provides a series of career-related activities in order to demystify Hollywood and educate them about careers in the entertainment industry. DONATE TO 101 HERE.
Launched in 2005, the Harvardwood Writers Program (HWP) offers ongoing workshops for film and television writers in LA, New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and more. HWP groups meet regularly to discuss and critique original material and to hear from experienced guest speakers in different fields. DONATE TO THE WRITERS PROGRAM HERE.
Not sure where you'd prefer your contribution to go? Then you can make a gift to the Harvardwood General Fund, which covers administrative and overhead expenses, space rentals, website fees, and other expenses integral to the maintenance and growth of the organization.
