Join Boston Harvardwood Writers Program (HWP) co-directors Heather and Sarah in the first-floor cafe of the Harvard Science Center at 7pm on Tuesday 10/3 to learn more about the Boston Harvardwood Writers Program, a biweekly workshop for screenwriters of all ages and experiences. Writers Time is an hourlong Zoom to help writers like you stay inspired and motivated through these difficult times.

In the first half hour we’ll write silently “alone together” on our respective projects– (and if you need something to get you started, there’ll be writing prompts too.) Then, in the second half hour, we’ll host a craft Q&A with Winnie Holzman and Special Guest Writers.

And it’s free!

Join us for a movie screening of LOVE IN TAIPEI, based on the New York Times’ best-selling novel LOVEBOAT, TAIPEI by Abigail Hing Wen. In the novel, a young American woman, Ever Wong, is sent by her parents to a cultural immersion program in Taipei – inspired by an actual program attended by thousands of Chinese and Taiwanese diaspora youth – where she begins a new journey of self-discovery and romance. Movie screening will be followed by a Q&A with author and executive producer Abigail Hing Wen at 10:45pm.
