This year we are re-imagining Mentors into a monthly seminar series called “Cinematic Conversations.”

“Conversations” will include trending topics, technique topics, and topics to provide you with the foundation to make better films. Taught by film professionals and peers, these interactive sessions are designed to build upon one another, developing the skills needed to better compete in the crowded field of filmmakers.

Have you ever been involved in a protest? Have you ever wanted to document it? This seminar teaches filmmakers the art of filming a protest; topics include the best equipment for the field, finding subjects to interview, and onsite filming techniques. This seminar is a must for any filmmaker interested in capturing movements as they happen.

Topics Covered

* What is the best equipment for the field
* How to look for subjects to interview
* How to do on site interviews
* Onsite filming techniques
