Programs for Harvard College Students

Welcome, FAS students! For a quick review of what Harvardwood offers current students, you're welcome to download our introductory brochure (PDF).

Harvardwood offers two career exploration programs for current students of Harvard College. Undergraduates must be dues-current Full Members of Harvardwood to participate in both programs, Harvardwood 101 and the Harvardwood Summer Internship Program.

Students: Financial assistance for Harvardwood membership dues is available to current Harvard College students through the Harvard Office of Career Services. For further information, please e-mail Ruth Wilson.

Harvardwood 101

This career exploration program brings two dozen current undergraduates to Los Angeles during the January term and provides a series of career-related activities in order to demystify Hollywood and educate them about careers in the entertainment industry.

Harvardwood Summer Internship Program

Started in 2003, HSIP provides a list of summer internship opportunities in the arts, media and entertainment to interested Harvard students.  In addition, HSIP facilitates career-related activities throughout the summer for participating students and companies in NYC and LA.
